72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - May 4th 2024 (6 am)

Slight Saharan dust thickening to moderate will be present during this forecast period affecting visbility and air quatlity. The necessary precautions should be taken. Instability is forecast to continue across the island chain, mostly concentrated to the south of SVG, and this could trigger a few showers and cloudy periods from time to time. Mid to upper levels will continue to be moist, however the dust intrusion can limit any significant shower activity during this forecast period.

The winds are forecast from the east south east (ESE) backing to east (E) at 20km/h-30km/h. Seas will be moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.2m on the western coasts and 1.5m on the eastern coasts.
