Weather Outlook - 29th February 2024 (12noon)

An upper level trough will linger across the island chain up to tonight(Thursday), allowing for episodes of intermittent light to moderate short lived showers. There is a medium chance of morning showers during the upcoming days with relatviely fairer conditions as the days progress into the mid afternoon period. No significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated within the next 3 days.

 

Gentle to moderate(~15-30km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades will cross the isalnds, with wind speeds decreasing(25km/h)on Sunday. Seas will remain slight to moderate in open waters with northerly swells ranging between 1.0m-1.8m.
