72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 29th April 2024(12 Noon)

Warm conditions, occasionally cloudy skies and sproadic light showers are likely within the next 24 hours across our islands. As Wednesday progresses, the moisture content is forecast to become elevated across the island chain, and a favourable mid to upper level environment could provide support; increasing the chance of showers.

Gentle to fresh (20-30km/h) east north easterly trades are crossing the islands. An increase (35km/h) in speeds is expected from Tuesday along with a shift to east south easterly. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.0m-2.0m. Northerly swells are forecast along Wednesday and seas will become generally moderate in open waters. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. There will be no significant Saharan dust within this forecast period.
