72 Hours Outlook

The next three days across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) are forecast to be warm, with limited chance of isolated showers, slight haze, gradually increasing in intensity, breezy conditions and choppy seas.

A few light isolated showers are expected today (Saturday), and on Sunday as a shear line lingers across the region. An Atlantic high pressure system will build, allowing for some early morning showers and breezy conditions around Monday. A respite in haze is anticipated on Sunday, gradually increasing in intensity from Monday. Winds will blow from the east north east (ENE), becoming generally easterly(E) from Monday at 20km/h-35km/h. Seas are forecast to be moderate to rough in open waters from Sunday, with swells ranging between 1.5m -3.0m. Northerly long period swells will continue throughout this forecast period, and there still exists the chance of surging breakers along the coastlines, which can be heighten during high tides. Monitoring will be done and updates will be provided.
