72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 19th November 2023(12 Noon)

The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to remain dominant over the next few days. Relatively fair and partly cloudy conditions are anticipated with a few isolated intermittent showers. Moderate to fresh (20-30km/h) east south easterly trades are crossing the islands but will shift to east north easterly from Tuesday while decreasing(< 20km/h). Seas are currently moderate in open water. Marine users should be prepared for above normal sea swells and breaking wave action and rip currents along the shore line due to the presence of long-period northerly swells.  Sea conditions should improve along Wednesday. In addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will linger throughout this forecast period reducing visibility and air quality.
