The tail end of a tropical wave will affect the islands tonight(Monday). Pockets of moderate showers and possible isolated thunderstorm activity are anticipated. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding or near rivers and streams should remain alert. The chance of showers decreases across our islands on Tuesday however lingering instability should allow for occasional cloudy skies and the passing sporadic shower. Another tropical wave should begin to affect the islands on Wednesday and rainfall accumulations of 50-75mm are forecasted up to 8pm Friday. Residents are advised to keep informed on the progress of this system in the upcoming days. Due to the already saturated nature of soils, flash flood watches or warnings may be issued as conditions warrant.
