72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 2nd January 2022(12 Noon)

There is a strong possibility for showers to become sporadic and limited across our islands within the next 24 hours as a weak ridge pattern rebuilds. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will also be noticeable within the next few days. The chance of showers increases from Wednesday as low-level moisture is expected to increase around SVG. Models suggest that a favourable mid to upper level environment will be in place and this could facilitate intense shower activity. The SVG Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the expected weather conditions and provide the necessary updates as time progresses. Residents and motorists are advised to remain alert.
