A tropical wave is affecting our islands and tonight, cloudy skies are anticipated with pockets of light to moderate showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams are advised to remain alert. It is also likely that unsettled conditions would persist along Monday as the moisture associated with this feature is expected to linger across our islands. Therefore, the SVG Meteorological Service would continue to monitor the progress of this wave and provide the necessary updates as it continues along its westward path. Conditions could improve by early Tuesday when the Atlantic high pressure system is expected to regain its dominance.
