72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 6th October 2022(6pm)

Instability trailing a tropical wave would continue to generate cloudy skies and trigger moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms across SVG tonight. A flash flood watch remains in effect. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be prepared. Lingering moisture would still allow for cloudy skies on Friday however, the chance of showers decreases as the day progresses. As a weak ridge pattern rebuilds, additional improvement to the weather conditions are anticipated across the weekend. Model guidance suggests however, that the Grenadine islands to the extreme south could still experience occasional showers as patches of moisture linger.
