72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 7th August 2021(6pm)

Models suggest that instability trailing a previous tropical wave will trigger light to moderate showers across Sunday night into Monday. There is also potential for isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists in the red and orange zones near the La Soufriere volcano should be alert. Another wave is anticipated for Tuesday and its associated shower activity is expected to intensity as the day progresses. Meanwhile, the SVG Meteorological Service continues to monitor a tropical wave off the coast of Africa that has the potential for tropical cyclone development within the next 5 days
