Today, Saturday expect fair to occasional cloudy skies with a few scattered showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as a tropical wave approaches the region. There is an elevated chance of showers and thunderstorm activity from Saturday night into the new week, as the tropical wave firstly affects the islands, and then as an area of low pressure, with a small chance of cyclone formation during the next two days, moves into the vicinity around Monday. The current forward motion is west northwest, and model guidance is indicating the low passing North over SVG Monday night into Tuesday to directly affect Guadeloupe and Dominica. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the progress of these systems.
