Scattered moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorm activity remain possible as an upper level trough system moves across the island chain. By mid-morning Thursday, the trough would be out the vicinity of the Eastern Caribbean, decreasing the chance of shower activity across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. After which, a tropical wave is forecast to approach around Thursday night, with most of the shower activity to affect the islands around Friday night into Saturday. Model guidance is indicating rainfall accumulation of approximately 50mm (~2 inches) by Saturday. The Saint Vincent Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the progress of this wave.
