Occasional showers and light rain remain possible, mostly across the northern portions of the mainland and over the Southern Grenadine islands this morning; as moisture trailing the wave coupled with favourable mid to upper levels linger across the region. As the day progress, ‘flare- ups’ are likely resulting in rain and the chance of isolated thunderstorms. Therefore, all residents are still advised to exercise caution. After which, the chance of showers are forecast to become less frequent, with mostly cloudy conditions forecast for Sunday. A weak perturbation will be in the vicinity around Sunday night, allowing for a few showers. By Monday morning, the Atlantic high pressure system will regain its dominance allowing for a few isolated showers.
