72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 15th July 2021 (6 pm)

A weak tropical wave is crossing the islands and a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. Saharan dust concentrations vary between a thin-film and slight haze across our area. The next tropical wave could be approaching the islands Friday night, with scattered showers and thunderstorms by early Saturday. A few showers could linger across SVG on Sunday…Be alert in areas prone to flash-flooding, or near rivers and streams.

Moderate to fresh (20 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trades could gust near 40 km/h at times and directions are likely to turn east south-easterly on occasions, as the tropical waves cross our islands.
