72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 8th July 2021(6pm)

Instability associated with a low amplitude tropical wave could trigger a few showers across the southern Grenadine islands tonight as it progresses westward. Meanwhile, breezy(very) and hazy conditions with pockets of intermittent showers are likely to persist into the weekend; with haze concentrations increasing from late Saturday reducing air quality and visibility. Be alert in wind exposed areas. Another tropical wave is also anticipated around this time (late Saturday into Sunday).
Fresh to strong(30 - 45km/h) east to east north easterly trades will move across the islands within the next 72 hours. As a result, agitated seas are moderate on western coasts peaking up to 1.5m and moderate to rough on eastern coasts ranging between 2.5m -2.8m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should be prepared for above normal sea swells and gusty winds.
