Weather Outlook 6th July 2021 (6 pm)

A few showers with isolated thunderstorm activity moved across our Grenadine Islands this afternoon, as a tropical wave crossed just south of our islands. The Atlantic High Pressure System is becoming the dominant feature and lower-level clouds moving along with its trade-wind flow are likely to trigger a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Saharan dust concentrations are expected to thicken across our area tonight and moderate-occasionally thick haze could reduce visibility/air-quality during Wednesday, possibly thinning-out during Friday...Be aware. 

Moderate to fresh (25 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trades are expected across our islands over the next few days, with strong gusts
