72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 2nd June 2021(12 Noon)

Brief scattered showers will continue across SVG today, with isolated showers possible on Thursday as weak pulses embedded within a predominantly easterly wind flow continue to move across SVG. A tropical wave currently located in the mid Atlantic, from 11N southward, is approaching the Guianas.  A veering of the winds will allow for a south easterly flow to generate moisture from this region across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines around Friday. The Grenadines will be affected first, as moderate showers and gusty winds are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The chance of isolated thunderstorms is high around Friday afternoon. Model guidance is indicating that moderate showers from this wave will linger into Saturday morning.
