Occasional showers, some of which may be moderate at times are likely especially across the southern Grenadines early Friday as weak instability continues to affect our islands. A south easterly wind flow could draw moisture to the islands early Saturday and result in similar conditions. Models suggest a favourable upper level environment could spread the activity to the mainland along with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert. A mixture of sunshine and a few showers are forecast for Sunday.
