Weather Outlook 18th July 2021 (6 pm)

On the southern edge of the Western Atlantic High Pressure System; weak unstable conditions are crossing the islands and occasional cloudy skies, a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG)…Be alert in areas prone to flash-flooding or near rivers and streams. Saharan dust concentrations are thickening and moderate/occasionally thick haze can be expected tonight, thinning-out to slight haze on Wednesday...Be aware of reduced visibility/air-quality. 

Moderate to fresh (25 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trades could become occasionally gusty (near 45 km/h), especially during Tuesday night…Be alert in wind-exposed areas.
