Generally cloudy to overcast skies with intense showers under gusty conditions are forecast for SVG tonight and tomorrow. Earlier, there were reports of flash-flooding across sections of the mainland. In addition, over 2 inches(~50mm) of rainfall were recorded at some stations. Models suggest an additional 3 inches(~75mm) of rainfall is anticipated with higher amounts in mountainous areas, therefore a flash-flood warning was put in effect for St. Vincent & the Grenadines from 4pm today until 6am Friday 30th October. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should continue to be vigilant and take the necessary precautionary measures to protect life and property.
