72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 13th December 2020(6pm)

Weak low-level instability lingers across our area and a marginally favourable upper-level environment exists. This increases the possibility for light to moderate showers that may be accompanied by isolated thunderstorms tonight. Dry and stable conditions are anticipated by mid-Monday and this should bring some improvements to the weather conditions into midweek. Therefore, A mixture of sunshine under fair to occasionally cloudy skies and a few brief intermittent showers likely from tomorrow.

Gentle to moderate (~15-30/h) east north easterly trades will move across the islands over the next 24 hours. A temporarily gentle(near 20km/h) flow can be expected on Tuesday before winds revert to moderate again.

Slight to moderate sea-conditions should persist across our islands; ranging 0.5 m to 1.0 m on western coasts and east north-easterly sea-swells near 1.5 m on eastern coasts.
