72 hours outlook (2)

Weak unstable conditions will continue to affect our islands tonight (Saturday) and occasional cloudy skies could result in scattered moderate showers along Sunday. Relatively fair and breezy conditions are likely on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will cross our islands within the next three days.

Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands and should become strong (~40 km/h) from Sunday. Seas are moderate in open waters but will deteriorate and become moderate to rough by mid-morning Sunday as wind speeds increase. A small craft and high surf advisory will be in effect as swells are expected to range between 2.0 m to 3.0 m (7ft-10ft). Only vessels capable of withstanding swells of these magnitudes should venture out. Sea-bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
