Weather Outlook - 5th August 2021(12 Noon)
Occasional cloudy skies with isolated light to moderate showers may be expected on Thursday afternoon as a wave continues to affect the islands. Lingering instability from the wave could on Friday result in similar conditions, however with less frequent showers. Meanwhile, another tropical wave should approach the islands Saturday. Warm and fair conditions are expected by Sunday afternoon.
A light wind regime (10km/h-20km/h) will continue over the next few days, blowing from the east (E) to east north east (ENE) on occasions. Wind direction could change on Sunday afternoon becoming east south easterly. Seas will remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 0.5m - 1.0m on the western coasts and 1.0m - 1.5m on the eastern coasts. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
