The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature bringing occasional brisk winds. Pockets of limited moisture associated with a mid-level area of low pressure, near South American continent could move across our islands with occasional cloudiness and isolated showers. Meanwhile, a weak low-level trough is expected across the island chain by mid-week with few scattered showers. 

Fresh breeze between 30 - 40km/h can be expected this afternoon with varying directions, possibly increasing overnight with occasional strong (40 - 50km/h) gusts during Tuesday. Some reduction in speed is expected mid-week with the crossing a weak low-level trough. 

Wave heights are expected to rise, to range 1.5 – 2.5m tonight….Mariners should exercise caution for above normal swells and occasional brisk winds. 

Barometric readings are expected to range 1015 – 1017mb by tonight, then fluctuating between 1014mb and 1018mb over the next couple days before dipping (1013-1015mb) late Thursday. 

Slight haze on our horizon due to patches of dust concentrations of varying intensity, could occasionally reduce visibility over the next few days.
