Weather Outlook 24th April 2020 (6 pm)

The Atlantic High Pressure System is pumping occasionally fresh breeze across our islands. On its southern edge, weak pulses in the wind-flow could result in scattered showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight into Saturday. Patches of Saharan dust with dry-air could reduce visibility across our area, with slight-moderate haze and limit shower activity to isolated showers by Sunday.

Moderate to fresh (25 - 40 km/h) east north-easterly trade-winds are expected across SVG, with higher gusts possible Saturday night. Gradual reduction in wind-speeds (20- 35 km/h) is expected during Sunday, with directions varying between east north-east and east south-east during Monday. Moderate (1.5 – 2.5 m) sea conditions are

expected across SVG overnight...Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal easterly swells on both western and eastern coasts. Swell heights could start falling by Sunday afternoon, with slight–moderate sea conditions across SVG.
