Weather Outlook - 29th May 2026 (12pm)
As forecast, a weak tropical wave crossed our area with little to no shower activity, and there has been slight improvement in Saharan dust concentrations. As the wave moves westward, a high pressure system will build across the area generating brisk winds.
On Saturday, a tropical wave currently located east of the island chain and moving westward at 17 to 23 mph is expected to cross our area. SVG is likely to experience cloudy skies along with light to moderate showers.
Northeasterly to southeasterly winds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are expected during the forecast period Slight to moderate sea conditions are expected across SVG, with swell heights near 1.0m (3ft) west of our islands and ranging from 1.5m (5ft) to 1.8m (6ft) east of our islands. A moderate to thick plume of dust haze is forecast to blanket the area from early Sunday, further reducing visibility and air quality.
