Weather Outlook - 30th May 2026(12noon)

A weak tropical wave is crossing the islands, intermixed with a thick plume of Saharan dust which is expected to reduce visibility across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during tonight, Sunday and Monday. Saharan dust concentrations are likely to

thin-out to moderate-haze by Tuesday…Take precautions due to Saharan dust-haze!

Moderate-fresh (25 - 38km/h) breeze across our islands could become gusty at night-times and wind directions vary between northeast and east southeast in some locations.

Slight-moderate sea conditions across SVG, range 1.0m (3ft) to 1.2m (4ft) west of our islands and 1.8m (6ft) to 2.0m (6.5ft) east of our islands…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for reducing visibility (very poor) in thick Saharan dust-haze (tonight until Monday), occasional gusty winds and above normal swells by Tuesday.
