A weak trough at lower levels is crossing the Windward Islands with few scattered showers expected to increase overnight into early Saturday. Upper levels could support more scattered showers on Saturday and Instability/moisture levels should remain elevated.
Moderate to heavy showers could spread across St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Sunday, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorm activity. A tropical wave which should be crossing south of our area late Sunday into Monday could add to unstable conditions. Occasional moderate to heavy downpours are also possible on Monday, as mid to upper levels could remain supportive.
Moderate (20 - 28 km/h) breeze east north-easterly breeze should continue this afternoon into tonight. Winds should veer to east-south-easterly during Saturday. Winds should be backing again and becoming fresh by Saturday night as the tropical wave crosses the area.
Mean sea-level pressure now ranging 1012 mb - 1014 mb, should generally range 1012 mb - 1016 mb by tonight. Slight to moderate (1.0 m to 1.8 m) east north-easterly sea swells can be expected with just slight increase on the east coast to near 2.2 m Saturday afternoon into Sunday.
