The High Pressure System is building across the Atlantic; but lower-level moisture associated with shearline features on its southern edge, are across some Windward Islands including St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Mid to upper level features are aligned, occasionally creating enhancement to shower activity. Over the next couple days, partly cloudy skies could become cloudy at times with scattered showers. Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 - 40km/h) east north-easterly trades
and few strong gusts near showers can be expected.
The High Pressure should be struggling with a Low Pressure System and its associated cold-front, deepening in the North Atlantic during next week.
Wave heights are rising and east north-easterly sea-swells could peak near 1.5m on west coasts and 2.5m on east coasts of SVG by Monday night before retreating by Tuesday afternoon…Mariners should exercise caution for rising swells.
Barometric readings should range between 1012mb and 1016mb across our area over the next few days.
No significant dust concentrations are expected across our area, but slight haze is possible with a bit of dust concentrations by Monday.
