Model guidance is not indicating any significant shower activity across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during the next 72 hours. Mostly fair conditions are possible for the remainder of the day, with a few isolated showers across the northern portion of SVG. By Saturday evening, an increase in cloud cover may be experienced and the chance of showers increases around Saturday night into early Sunday morning. A few showers are forecast for Monday as weak unstable conditions move across the island chain.
The slight presence of dust haze will continue to gradually thin out , and be removed by Saturday, before another intrusion takes place late Sunday.
A moderate (20km/h – 35km/h) wind flow varying in direction will be experienced into Saturday. A decrease in wind speed (20km/h- 30km /h) blowing predominantly from the north east is forecast for Sunday into Monday.
In addition, there will be moderate sea conditions for the next 48 hours with swells peaking to 1.5m on the west coast and 2.0m on the east coast. An improvement on the west coast will be noticeable by Sunday morning (1.0m). A slight improvement will also be noticeable (1.5m) towards Sunday evening on the east coast.
