Weak surface to low-level instability generated occasionally cloudy skies with light to moderate showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines into Tuesday morning; however, model guidance is suggesting a few showers over the next 72 hours. To this end, generally fair to partly cloudy conditions are anticipated as the Atlantic high pressure regains and maintains its dominance.
Moderate to fresh winds (15km/h -35km/h) will be blowing predominantly from the east north east and occasionally oscillate to east south easterly for short periods on afternoons up to Friday.
A slight deterioration is forecast in sea conditions late Tuesday night into Wednesday, with a generally moderate nature anticipated across the coasts (up to 1.5m west and up to 2.5m on the east) for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. An improvement to these conditions (1.0m to 1.5m) are expected around Friday.
No significant dust haze intrusion is forecasted within the next few days.
