Due to a relatively dry and stable atmosphere, mainly fair conditions can be expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during the next 24 hours. Any showers generated by low level clouds moving with the wind flow, will be limited and brief in duration.

However, by late Thursday, a trough being enhanced at the upper levels of the atmosphere is expected across our area resulting in light to moderate showers, which is likely to linger into the weekend.

Northeasterly to Easterly winds ranging between 15 to 30 km/h (9 to 19 mph) are forecast during the next 72 hours.

Slight to moderate easterly seas peaking near 1.5 meters (5.0 feet) will remain during this forecast period.

Additionally, a thin layer of Saharan dust haze is expected to persist across the islands for the next few days.
