The Flash Flood Watch for St. Vincent & the Grenadines has been discontinued as of 12 noon Saturday 22nd August 2020. However, trailing instability associated with Tropical Storm Laura is the main catalyst as to why there is still potential for small pockets of light to moderate showers and thunderstorm activity to develop across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines over the next 6 -12 hours. Models suggest a few early morning showers are likely across Sunday and Monday due to weak approaching shearlines. A few showers are also likely on Tuesday as unstable conditions are forecast.
Occasionally fresh (~35km/h) south easterly trades will move across the islands, becoming gentle/moderate(~15-25km/h) and ENE-E across Sunday. An ENE-ESE flow is expected on Sunday with winds decreasing(~10-20km/h) before returning to fresh on Monday becoming south easterly.
Sea conditions currently range between 1.5m to 2.5m. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. As Sunday progresses, the wind speeds will gradually decrease and slight to moderate sea conditions (1.0m-1.5m) will return.

No significant haze intrusion is anticipated within the forecast period.
