Hazy conditions are clearing to a thin film across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and a few showers are likely, mainly across our Grenadine islands tonight before spreading across SVG during Sunday, as a weak tropical wave moves across the islands. A trailing trough could maintain scattered showers on Monday and unstable conditions could linger Tuesday, with upper-level features occasionally enhancing showers and thunderstorm activity.
Fresh to occasionally strong (~ 30 - 45 km/h’) east north-easterly trades across our islands, could gradually decrease to moderate (~ 20 - 30 km/h’) breeze by Sunday night. Directions could turn east south-easterly Monday afternoon,
with slight increase during the night followed by east north-easterly directions late Tuesday.
Easterly sea-swells are across our islands and swells heights are expected to gradually decrease to moderate conditions nearing 2.0 m on western coasts and near 2.5 m on eastern coasts of SVG...Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution…Slight to moderate sea-conditions ranging 1.2 m - 2.0 m are expected by Monday, with north north-easterly swells. Swells heights could rise again during Tuesday, nearing 1.5 m on western coasts and 2.5 m on eastern coasts of SVG.
