Low level moisture continues to linger across the island chain, and occasional cloudy skies with scattered showers are forecast for the remainder of the day. The atmosphere will become dry and stable by Tuesday resulting in mostly fair conditions, before unstable conditions begin affecting the islands around Wednesday. Model guidance indicates that most of the shower activity will be reserved to the north over St Lucia; nevertheless, SVG is likely to experience a few showers during Wednesday and possibly around Wednesday night into early Thursday.
Winds will generally be between east north east and east at approximately 20km/h- 35km/h during the next 72 hours period. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the eastern coasts and 2.0m on the western coasts. Swells will be north-easterly, becoming easterly from Tuesday.
In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
