Fair to occasionally cloudy skies and hazy conditions with brief sporadic showers are anticipated over the next three days across St. Vincent & the Grenadines. In addition, the likelihood of isolated thunderstorms increases within the red zone area during an explosive eruption. Residents and motorists should remain alert due to rain-soaked ash and poor visibility in volcanic ash.

Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) east south easterly trades will cross the islands up to and across Saturday before becoming easterly and occasionally fresh(~35km/h) on Sunday. Strong (30-40km/h) east north easterly breeze is expected on Monday.

Seas are currently slight to moderate(0.5m - 1.5m) in open water. A slight and temporarily increase(1.2m -2.0) expected from Saturday night before decreasing reverting on Sunday. By nightfall however seas could increase again. Small craft operators and other users of the sea should not venture along the coast in the red zone due to poor visibility in volcanic ash. Saharan dust haze concentrations could decrease around Monday.
