Over the past few days, a dry and stable atmosphere persisted across our islands which limited shower activity to brief and isolated. Apart from a slight chance for a few showers crossing St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by Thursday, dry conditions could continue until the weekend. The thin film of haze due to varying concentrations of Saharan dust could temporarily thicken to slight haze across our area on Wednesday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trades are moving across our islands. Wind direction could temporarily turn east south-east during Thursday.
Slight sea-conditions with east north-easterly swells range 1.0 m to 1.5 m
on western coasts and moderate sea-conditions with east north-easterly swells range 1.5 m to 1.8 m on eastern coasts of SVG. East south-easterly swells are likely on eastern coasts by Wednesday night.
