Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the remainder of the week as the Atlantic high pressure system dominates at the surface while mid to upper level instability remains over the region. Shower activity will be isolated (i.e. about 20% of the country) during Wednesday, while scattered showers (i.e. about 60% of the country) are possible on Thursday towards Friday.
It will be breezy at times in some areas as the winds blow from the east north east (ENE) at 25km/h-30km/h tonight through to Wednesday. Wind speeds will gradually increase to approximately 30km/h-40km/h from Thursday into Friday resulting in general breezy conditions across the island. Sea conditions should remain moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.2m - 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.2m - 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Deterioration (~3.0m) is possible on the eastern coasts as the winds increase from Thursday night into Friday. In addition there will be no significant haze intrusion during the next few days.
