The low level shearline that affected Saint Vincent and the Grenadines over the past 24hours has now moved southwards over the extreme southern islands (Trinidad and Tobago).
The southern Grenadines experienced some scattered showers and light period of rain this morning while partly cloudy to cloudy conditions were experienced on mainland.
This afternoon, the Western Atlantic Ridge of high pressure will establish itself across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and an improvement in weather conditions are anticipated. However, moisture at both low and mid levels is high and cloudy conditions may still prevail with a few occasional showers. Strong breeze will also continue to move across the islands.
A drying trend is forecast for tomorrow afternoon as well as a decrease in wind speeds. An approaching trough will be responsible for the decrease in wind speeds. However, present analysis does not reveal significant moisture with it.
