The Altantic high pressure system remains the dominant feature, however shallow cloud patches will trigger a few showers across our islands into Thursday night. The chance of showers decreases along Friday before a weak shearline edges closer to the islands by nightfall. Relatively fair conditions should return by mid afternoon Saturday.
Occasional breezy conditions are expected to conitnue during this forecast period. Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) north easterly trades would temporarily decrease(15-25km/h) on Friday before reverting to moderate/fresh on Friday. Speeds are expected to decrease(<20 km/h) again on Sunday. Seas are currently moderate with swells peaking near 1.5m on western coasts and up to 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. Sea conditions could improve around Sunday. In addition, no significant Saharan dust concentrations are anticipated during this forecast period.
