The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature across the islands. Patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow will continue to produce occasionally cloudy skies and isolated showers.

However, by early Friday, surface to low- level instability associated with a shear line is expected across our area. As a result, occasional cloudy skies, light to moderate showers and gusty winds can be expected into Saturday

Easterly to North-easterly winds ranging between 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph) will continue during the forecast period.

Slight to moderate seas swells ranging between 1.0 and 2.2 meters will continue along the western and eastern coastlines, respectively. However, an increase peaking to 2.5 meters is anticipated by early Friday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds

No Saharan dust haze is expected during the next few days.
