The atmosphere is mostly dry, with partly sunny skies and warm conditions continuing across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) today. Light winds across SVG, coupled with day-time heating could trigger isolated/localised showers and thunderstorms. Patches of lower-level clouds are expected across our islands during Saturday night and early Sunday, with a few showers. A thin-film of haze may be noticeable
at times, with no significant haze intrusion.
Light and gentle (< 20km/h) breeze could vary in direction between east north-east and east south-east, becoming calm at times with little/no cooling effect.
Marine conditions are slight to moderate with swells ranging 0.5m to 1.5m across our islands, gradually falling to slight conditions (0.5 - 1.0m) during the weekend.
An area of low pressure in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean is showing signs of organization and has a high (90%) chance of development. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
