Light isolated showers were reported this morning across the islands due to lingering moisture from a weak low level trough. The Atlantic Ridge of high pressure is forecast to dominate the weather pattern across SVG for the next 24 hours, before another weak trough affect the islands around Friday.
Occasional light scattered showers are forecast this afternoon becoming isolated by tomorrow, mainly because of the relatively dry atmosphere.
Breezy conditions are also likely to persist until on Friday. Seas are generally moderate in open waters with swells peaking to 2.5m. By tonight, a slight deterioration with swells peaking to 3.0m is forecast for the east coast. An advisory for small craft operators and sea bathers will be issued. On Friday, an improvement in sea conditions will take place.
