A shallow band of moisture associated a weak shearline across the island chain, lies on the southern edge of the Atlantic High Pressure. Cloudiness across our islands today, did not amount to any significant rainfall activity. Similarly, a few brief showers are possible overnight.

A mid level trough is expected to deepen near the south-east of the island chain overnight, filling to an open wave by Friday. This area could generate weak pulses/troughs across the islands with cloudiness and showers, becoming widespread across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) late Thursday into Friday.

The High Pressure System should rebuild across the region on Saturday, with breezy conditions after some early showers. However, by late Saturday another weak pulse could result in mid level moisture across the Leeward and Windward Islands supporting lower level moisture with shower activity.

East north-easterly gentle to moderate (15-28 km/h) breeze can be expected overnight into Thursday. Veering to the east south-east by Friday, and becoming fresh (up to 38 km/h) on Saturday as the pressure gradient increases.Mean sea-level pressure should range 1012-1014 mb, rising on Saturday as the High Pressure builds. Slight (up to 1.2m) sea swells on the west and slight to moderate (up to 2.0m) sea swells on the east, with a slight fall (0.5 m -1.5 m) across SVG on Thursday into Friday. Patches of dust concentrations with varying intensity can be expected.
