72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 30th September 2020 (12Noon)

Lingering instability from a tropical wave generated showers and thunderstorm activity across St. Vincent & the Grenadines this morning. Similar conditions are anticipated for the remainder of the day across the Grenadines with occasional periods of minor improvement on mainland. Another tropical wave should affect the islands on Thursday, bringing light rain, pockets of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorm activity under favourable upper level conditions. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should therefore continue to be alert and exercise caution. On Friday, similar weather conditions are expected to persist. However, by mid afternoon Saturday some improvement to the weather pattern is likely to occur.
