72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 31st December 2024(12 Noon)

A ridge pattern will dominate the weather pattern for this forecast period allowing for relatively fair conditions. Meanwhile, a shearline could generate cloudy conditions across the Grenadines along late afternoon Thursday and Friday.

Gentle (<20 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Speeds should gradually increase (~35 km/h) by Thursday. Seas are moderate in open waters with northerly swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and near 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Swell heights should rise along Thursday. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for breaking wave action and occasional rip currents. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
