Weather Discussion:
The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature, with occasional brisk winds pushing cloud patches across St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) bringing a few showers. Moisture levels are likely to increase across SVG during Thursday afternoon, with occasional cloudy skies and light-moderate showers by evening. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust could create a film/slight-haze across our area at times.
Fresh-occasionally strong (30 - 40km/h) breeze continue across our islands, with wind directions ranging from north northeast to easterly in some locations. Higher gusts ~45km/h are likely near showers…Be Alert!
Sea conditions are moderate-rough/choppy in open water, with swells near 1.5m west of our islands and ranging 2.0m to 2.7m east of our islands. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for occasional gusty winds and above normal swells.
