Upper level troughing, with favorable position could enhance shower activity across our area tonight, resulting in continued multi-layered cloudiness. Some scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorm activity can be expected. Meanwhile, over the Leeward Islands, same cloud mass and associated thunderstorm activity (brought showers across SVG yesterday, Thursday) now has a 20% chance of development within the next few days (moving away from SVG).
Late Saturday into Sunday, a weak surface to low level shearline (which was previously showed characteristics as tropical wave) should cross our islands, followed by a reduction in shower activity late Sunday and Monday with isolated showers.
Gentle to moderate (12 - 28km/h) breeze expected to increase to fresh (20-40km/h) by Sunday and Monday. Slight to moderate seas with east north-easterly swells can be expected across SVG.
