72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 6th August 2024 (6pm)

Weak unstable conditions linger across our islands and shower activity continues tonight into early Wednesday. On the south-western edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System, cloud patches occasionally converge and a few scattered showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) overnight Wednesday and during Thursday. A few showers are likely on Friday, possibly increasing by Saturday. Visibility across our islands is expected to be fair/good over the next few days, but a film/slight-haze may be noticeable at times.

Light-gentle (10 - 15km/h) breeze across our islands could vary between north-east and east south-east in some locations, occasionally increasing (20 - 30km/h) near showers.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 0.5m - 1.0m west of our islands-appearing smooth at times and ranging 1.0m - 1.5m east of our islands.
