72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 13th May 2025 (12 Noon)

Unstable conditions are across our islands and the upper level environment is providing marginal support. Occasional cloudy skies can be expected within the next two days with intermittent light to moderate showers. On Friday, the likelihood of showers and thunderstorms increases.

Moderate to fresh (~20 to 30km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are currently crossing our islands shifting to east south easterly from Wednesday. A slight increase (~35km/h) is anticipated from Thursday. Seas are moderate in open water with swells ranging between 1.5m to 2.0m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Sea conditions could improve around Friday. In addition, a film of Saharan dust haze should cross our islands on Wednesday reducing visibility and air quality across our islands.
