72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 12th July 2025(12 Noon)

A ridge pattern is dominant, allowing for fair conditions mixed with brief light showers as Saturday progresses. Similar conditions are anticipated across this weekend with a slight reduction in wind speeds which may contribute to warm conditions. By Tuesday afternoon, a tropical wave should begin to affect our islands, generating cloudy skies and triggering a few showers.

Gentle to moderate (~15 -25 km/h) east north easterly to northeasterly trades are crossing the islands. A temporary shift to east south easterly is expected on Monday afternoon. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5 and 2.0 m on eastern coasts. A thin film of Saharan dust haze is currently crossing our islands but should decrease by Sunday.
