72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 27th June 2025 (12 Noon)

An approaching tropical wave is expected to generate cloudy conditions across our islands Friday night. During Saturday, the potential for scattered moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms increases. Residents should remain alert. Similar activity is expected early Sunday before the Atlantic High Pressure system dominates before the day concludes. Relatively fair conditions are anticipated on Monday.

Moderate to fresh(~25-35 km/h) east north easterly to easterly trades are currently crossing the islands. Strong(~40km/h) trades will cross our islands from Sunday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.2m on western coasts and up to 2.3m on eastern coasts. Seas should become generally moderate from Saturday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Saharan Dust haze concentrations should gradually thin out on Saturday before returning on Sunday, reducing visibility and air quality across our islands.
